Ben Kilner represented Team GB in snowboard half pipe at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. The Vancouver Games were Kilner's first Olympic Winter Games.
Kilner placed 18th in the halp pipe competition with a top score of 17.0.
A snowboarder since the age of nine, Ben has already reached the top ten of a World Cup event and says his long-term goal is to get on to an Olympic podium.
He is adept at a number of different disciplines, but says his primary focus is on half-pipe – the event he’ll be taking part in at the Vancouver Games.
Kilner's nickname is Killdog, and he likes to train with cage fighters to maintain his fitness. “Their fitness level is unbelievable,” he says. However, bravery does bring its own dangers – Kilner once dislocated a knee after riding off a cliff in Chamonix, France.
