Lee Jackson represent team in biathlon at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. The Vancouver Games were Jackson's first Olympic Winter Games.
Jackson placed 55th in the 10km sprint, recording a personal best time and he became the first Britson to qualify for an Olympic biathlon pursuit event. Jackson placed 56th in the 12.5km pursuit and 66th in the 20km individual.
Jackson serves in the British Army as a Lance-Corporal with Second Battalion The Yorkshire Regiment and started competing in biathlon in 1997.
His international debut came two years after that, meaning Jackson had been part of the British team for just over a decade.
Jackson plays the guitar and says music is one of his great pleasures. In 2009 Jackson named as British Biathlon’s athlete of the year last season.
