Lorna Vevers represented Team GB in the women’s curling team made her Olympic debut at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games. The women's team skipped by Eve Muirhead placed seventh.

Vevers has been curling for 18 years, and her achievements so far are a bronze medal at the World Championships in 2007 and silver at the European Championships in the same year.

She is an extreme sports fan and when she is not curling she enjoys quad biking and riding. Vevers also owns a horse called Murphy.
