'I Knew I Had to Charge' says Alcott
Team GB's Chemmy Alcott completed her Alpine campaign at her third Olympic Winter Games with the slalom event today (Friday).
“It was always going to be a fight from my start number today and I knew I really had to try to charge it,” said Alcott, who missed a gate on her opening run.
Alcott has competed in all five women’s Alpine events in Vancouver, finishing 11th in the combined event to equal her best Olympic Winter Games performance.
